Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. 2 Tim. 2:19
Friends we want to encourage you this week that God has not forgotten you in your struggle. In fact it is in your struggle that you will most learn exactly who it is you belong to. During the time of committment to the Lord we are challenged by every day events (and perhaps some extraordinary ones), to push through the veil of the flesh and stand on the firm foundation of God and his Word. And the foundation of his Word and promise to you stands sure having been sealed with God's knowledge - his full and undivided attention to and awareness of his people. Let every one who is baptized in Jesus Name, who loves the ACTS 2:38 message, depart from iniquity.
But you say "I have no sin." to which we reply "well and good" - but are you truly in peace in your situation? Are you truly setting the example of Godly patience, perserverence, and hope for those watching you go through? Are you trusting wholly in the Lord in your challenge, standing on the ROCK, turning to the stone of his protection? If not, you may need to restore your faith and return to the peace that passeth all understanding, which is sealed in his knowledge of YOU. How, you may ask? By understanding this simple fact: JESUS KNEW YOU WOULD GO THROUGH THIS. JESUS KNEW YOU WOULD BE CHALLENGED BY THIS. WHAT HE SAID BEFORE HE MEANS NOW. WHAT HE PROMISED HE WILL DO. HE WILL BRING YOU OUT IN VICTORY! It is SEALED by his knowledge of YOU. God loves and protects you and he WILL BRING YOU OUT, IF YOU STAY IN HIM! Be encouraged, and stand on the foundation of God this week.
In Love,
Elder Mark and Sister Dana
