PSA. 16:5-6 The LORD [is] the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot. The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant [places]; yea, I have a goodly heritage.
Friends, we hear often the phrase "drawing a line in the sand". It means a challenge has been put forth and that the enemy or challenged one cannot come any further, that this is the place where you will make your stand and that is all there is to it. I put to you that God has drawn a line in your spirit; the line drawn is one of redemption, familial status, ownership. He is saying to you: "I have bought you, brought you out, and I hold you here, in a pleasant place - my Spirit. The devil cannot have you, and here you must stay." The line is drawn in blood and represents a defense for you and limits for the devil. You are safe behind that line, the scarlet line found in redemption through his Spirit and in his Word. If you would only heed the call of God on your life, if you would only stay "in line" as it were, such great things could come to you as belong to the heirs of promise!
Don't wander beyond the limitations set by God in your heart. They are NOT meant as a prison but as a guide to make you the SONS AND DAUGHTERS OF THE MOST HIGH. In verse 6, it says"The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places": I submit that if YOU are IN CHRIST you are in a very pleasant place! STAY THERE! HOLD ON one day longer! Don't sell your inheritance for sex, drugs, money, fame or any other temptation. Don't quit, YOU HAVE A GOODLY INHERITANCE, and it all LINES UP IN JESUS! Be Blessed, Elder Mark and Sister Dana
