Joshua 11:6-7 And the LORD said unto Joshua, Be not afraid because of them: for to morrow about this time will I deliver them up all slain before Israel: thou shalt hough their horses, and burn their chariots with fire. So Joshua came, and all the people of war with him, against them by the waters of Merom suddenly; and they fell upon them.

Friends, the word Merom means Height (from an elevated position). Joshua attacked his enemies from an elevated position. If you are struggling this week, consider yourself and where you are in God. More importantly, consider where God is with you. If you will just take the time to lift him up, to elevate the elevator you will find your circumstances are not so overwhelming.

In battle armies will seek the "high ground". From that elevated position they can see the enemy better, strategize against them better, and force them to come up to where they are. From the elevated position of being in God's hands (the most High's hands), you will be able to see past the circumstance and know the way around it. You will be able to pull the enemy into YOUR atmosphere and into YOUR camp and destroy him suddenly. God wants to give you victory but he said "and I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me". That means that you will find yourself elevated and lifted up only when you lift HIM to his rightful place. How? Through praise and worship, through faith and trust! MOVE IN YOUR PRAISE TO THE HIGH PLACE, LET GOD ELEVATE YOU THROUGH PRAISE AND WORSHIP AND YOU WILL FIND YOUR MEROM AND HAVE VICTORY IN JESUS!
