How To LIVE In Prophetic Times!

In these days when runaway legislation and spending is all but ensuring our economic downfall, when prophecy around the world seems to be fulfillling itself daily, and when the coming of the Lord is so close, we must pause for a reality check.
I have been thinking about the end-times, and what that really means to a true believer, and here's what I think.
God promised us that he would NEVER leave us nor forsake us. That he would meet all our NEED according to his riches in Glory! I preached once that NEED means spiritual salvation, since in fact it doesn't say NEEDS, but a singular word: NEED. He will meet all your NEED. I believe he was saying, don't worry....get saved, and I'll help you stay saved. Once your primary NEED is met, once you have fulfilled your destiny and contacted me, been filled with me, and living for me and through me....I will satisfy you!
There is something in that promise, something in living for a God that provides us with food,clothing and shelter, let alone love, forgiveness and hope that TRANSCENDS PROPHECY! Not that it negates what is chosen or spoken to happen, but that it relegates that activity and future to irrelevancy beside the power of being in God's perfect will!
He is the author and finisher of your faith! He is the creator, Alpha and Omega. How is it that we can get so tangled up trying to decipher prophecy that we lose sight of our daily salvation? You want to know how to live in days of prophecy? JUST LIVE FOR GOD. Just trust him. Pray every day to be found ready! Pray to be found right. Live right, pray right, stay right, and when the time comes you will BE right!
God is returning, that much is certain. WHEN and WHERE remain to be seen but, if you are ready for THAT, nothing else matters much. He told us in his word that we would NEVER know the day nor the hour! So, quit worrying about it! Accept that this is the day and hour of your salvation and get ready! That is all you really need to know.
